My favourite section in science is microbiology!
I am always learning new things about how microorganisms affect diseases, the environment and food. I am currently looking at microbe microbe interactions in the gut, it’s exciting to work with others in a team as we share our ideas

I also like science communication. This is how we share information about science. Some ways that this can be done is through writing or speaking to an audience!

I love chemistry the most, but the great part about science is that it all overlaps at different times. I love knowing how the chemistry of medicines will interact with the biology of the human body.
As I study more, I find that I have less of a favourite part because it all works together so well.

I love microbiology! It is so interesting how yeast and bacteria, (which are very, very tiny living things), can impact our lives so much. They can both help us and hurt us, as they can be used to make things we need, (yeast makes bread and bacteria make medicines), but can also make us sick.
