      Thank you for your question!
I am not a scientist that is working on COVID-19 so I am unable to answer your question for you. However, I know that there are lots of scientists around the world who are working together to make a vaccine as soon as possible

I am a researcher that works on bacteria and antibiotics, so I am not involved with making vaccines. I do not know when a vaccine will be ready, but lots of brilliant scientists all over the world, working hard to develop a safe and effective vaccine to prevent people getting sick. There is no set date or time line for a vaccine release, but they are doing their best to get it to us as quickly as possible.

      Hello!

Like Charlene and Ellen, I am not a scientist working with COVID-19 : this would be virologist or immunologist or medical scientist. There are lots of teams of scientists around the world working on this. Developing a new vaccines takes a long time and lots of steps – this is to make sure that it (a) definitely works and (b) does not harm people when they take it.

I hope there is a vaccine soon!
